The Danish Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association publishes information about wind energy, including this web site.
Our quarterly magazine VINDFORMATION is available in Danish only. Our international publication series is Wind Power Notes. To learn more, turn to our publications page.
We are also engaged in energy policy issues, economics, standardisation, and research and development issues at home and abroad.
The association is a member of the European Wind Energy Association, EWEA, the World Energy Council, WEC, and a member of several national and EU committees.

Facts About the
Danish Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association
The Danish Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association is a nonprofit association whose purpose is to promote wind energy at home and abroad.
The association was founded in 1981.
Membership is voluntary. The association today represents 99.9 per cent of Danish wind turbine manufacturing measured in MW.

Companies which have a major wind energy activity in Denmark and have a turnover in wind turbine manufacturing exceeding 10 million DKK per year may become "A" members. Likewise, large component manufacturing companies may become A members by decision of the board of directors.
These members have a right to appoint a director to the board of directors.

Other companies with a substantial interest in wind energy may become "B" members. These members jointly elect a director to the board of directors.
Other companies with an interest in wind energy may join the association as non-voting C members. These members receive all publications, and have access to the annual general assembly, etc.

The complete statutes of the Association and its subscription fee structure are available from the secretariat on request. (Currently available in Danish only).

Membership dues
A-members pay on the basis of their annual sales
B-members currently pay DKK 31,500 per year
C-members currently pay DKK 5,500 per year
