The M.Sc. and Ph.D. students are required to have the basic knowledge, skills and visions necessary to advance researches. This goal is achieved through a balance of required courses and oriented studies in different research areas of electrical engineering. The students achieve different fundamental skills and techniques become familiar with analysis and design of systems and algorithms through the final project. The work requires the students to design and, in most cases, to build and demonstrate a prototype of their work. A series of innovative papers related to the project must also be produced and submit for publication in the accepted journals.

mobile cloud computing has gained interest in recent years. problems such as intelligent network selection, offloading costly computation in mobile devices into cloud and software architecture for the next generation of mobile devices in cloud are attracting new researches. wearable computing and augmented reality are new areas for next level of man-machine interaction.
many applications such as image processing, video processing, network processing, network security, scientific computing, and many more, require acceleration to achieve higher throughput and reduced execution time. current modern platform FPGAs devices allow hardware-software co-design that enable new methods for acceleration.
ECG signal recording and its analysis is vital for many patient oriented applications. this signal can also be used to determine humans emotion. medical image processing such as MRI denoising and automatic segmentation can accelerate medical diagnostic.
